DEWATERING SUMMARY

Dewatering Summary Dashboard

All your dewatering information, summarised on one graph

Since mining in a wet open cast pit is either very expensive or not feasible, effective dewatering is very important.  WIMS centrally stores all the data needed to track the efficiency of your dewatering process, then translates it into an easy to interpret graph.  What's more, it is available on your phone, first thing in the morning.  See how you and your dewatering team performed first thing in the morning, while having your coffee, then plan accordingly.

More information about the data used to give you this overview.

WIMS centrally stores the following datasets, either by manually capturing the data in the field, or through integrations with your data acquisition systems:
  • The mine plan
  • ∆ mine level compliance threshold, or, in simple terms, how far you ideally want the water level under the mining level
  • Borehole water levels representative of the open cast mine or compartment water level
  • Borehole abstraction rates
  • Borehole Utilization.
These datasets are then processed to produce the insight, available to you daily, in the palm of your hand.

WIMS also transforms the following dataset into visualized information:
